1985 Pontiac Fiero, Artwork by Jack Pumphrey of the 1985 Pontiac Fiero, is a mid-engined sports car that was built by the Pontiac division of General Motors from 1984 to 1988, the Fiero—meaning "proud" in Italian and "wild", "fierce", or "ferocious" in Spanish, framed prints of the Pontiac sports car, note cards of the Fiero, metal plate prints of the first two-seater Pontiac, also the first and only mass-produced mid-engine sports car in the U.S.
