Description
The Kissel brothers of Hartford, Wisconsin, built their first automobile in 1905. Their success became huge with many wanting to own a Kissel Kar. In 1920, Amelia Earhart was living in Los Angeles and had been learning to fly for over 3 years. Her first plane she loved & bought was painted canary yellow. Once her father divorced her mother, she decided to move to Boston with her sister Muriel who was about to attend Harvard University. Amelia had already bought the 1923 Kissel "Gold-Bug" speedster & had told people that she had learned to fly before she learned to drive a car.
