Thank you for the information Jack, I am looking forward to hosting some of my work on here as well. You do some great work from what I see. Might I ask, "does your work sell well for you on here?" I'm not trying to pry and would never talk money, I just wished to know if you actually make good sales for yourself. Thank you very much for your help!

Thank you for contacting me, Keith. Of all the different sites and networking venues I'd say Fine Arts America has worked the best. Places like ETSY & Redbubble are for craftspersons and I don't feel that describes where I'm coming from. In order to offer your art for sale on FAA or any other internet site you need a means of converting your art to a digital image, one you can upload using the templates available. Start with a computer program like Adobe Photoshop; I use Elements 8. Next, I get a scanner with at minimum 11 x 17" platen (Window) Obtain a digital camera with at minimum, 8 Mega-pixels of resolution. Tie it all together with a basic computer platform like a MAC or PC. I happen to use a PC with Windows 7 + the Photoshop Elements. I also use a flash-card reader that takes the digital data from my Canon EOS 300D digital SLR camera and imports it into Photoshop where I can change the sizes, crop, add or subtract other data and transfer the new image into the correct folder. After that's done I'm ready to add more images into any one of about 50 galleries I have on FAA. Having said all that, I'd check out a computer graphic arts course through your local community college system in the Boston area and take the courses offered. Sounds like it can be overwhelming and for me, at close to 80, it was but, old learned common sense skills and cunning wins out over youthful fears of the unknown.

Mr. Pumphrey, I must ask... I've seen your works on a few different sites now and was wondering what site is best to sell your works from. I am an artist who is trying to sell my products as well. How is it that I could turn my originals into prints such as the ones I see you have showing? I really would like to get my designs some showings for sale, just wondering the best way to go about it. any help would be appreciated. Thank you. Keith...

V #1 very nicely done Jack! I love how brightly the color stands out! And, believe me, I can almost feel your pain with all the details you included in this drawing! For those of us who know that pen and ink can be tedious and rewarding at the same time, Congratulations on another wonderful piece of art! V F
